Jones, a native of New Zealand, has spent the last two years playing in the New Zealand National Basketball League for the Nelson Giants.
He becomes the latest pickup for the Badgers from the overseas pool, as they also worked to land a commitment from Serbian big man Andrija Vukovic in the 2024 class.
Jones, who stands 6’5, is the third addition for the Badgers in the 2025 class, joining guard Zach Kinziger and center Will Garlock.
The guard averaged 2.8 points in 12.1 minutes of action per game this past season for the Giants, as he played in 17 games, while making two starts.
Jones has also played on the international circuit for the New Zealand U17 team, and has been with the FIBA team as well.
The Badgers are still active in the 2025 class, as they will have a number of roster spots to fill with several seniors set to depart after the following season.
