Davis’s commitment is the fifth for the Badgers during official visits, joining cornerbacks Rukeem Stroud and Jahmare Washington, and offensive linemen Logan Powell and Nolan Davenport.
The Badgers offered Davis last September and remained in communication with the Indiana native as their tight end board remained fluid before making a strong push this spring for the three-star.
That got them the first official visit for the 6’4, 215-pound tight end, which ultimately sealed the deal for the Badgers.
Heading into official visits, Davis had official visits scheduled with the Badgers, the Kansas Jayhawks, and the Purdue Boilermakers, who had the hometown draw.
Now, Davis joins a tight end room that added tight ends Rob Booker and Grant Stec in the 2024 class, while the Badgers are expected to lose just one departure after the season with redshirt senior Riley Nowakowski.
Overall, Davis becomes the 16th commit in the 2025 class for the Badgers.
