Wisconsin has yet to land a player in the transfer portal.
The Wisconsin Badgers faced some more unfortunate news when Omaha transfer forward Frankie Fidler announced his commitment to the Michigan State Spartans on Tuesday.

Fidler, a 6’7, 205-pound forward, averaged 20.2 points and 6.3 rebounds last season while shooting 45.2 percent from the field for Omaha.
Earlier this offseason, Fidler had entered the transfer portal, where he fixated on four teams: Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan State, and Creighton, taking visits to the former three places.
Fidler was initially expected to make a commitment decision last Monday, but elected to delay his decision, which started a downtrend for the Badgers in regards to the transfer portal.
Following that decision, Wisconsin saw Chucky Hepburn enter the portal, while A.J. Storr committed to the Kansas Jayhawks. Then, the Badgers missed out on top targets Tyrese Hunter, who went to Memphis, and Brandon Angel, who committed to Oregon.
Hepburn’s departure from the program likely sealed any chance of Fidler coming to Wisconsin, as the two were high school teammates, with the point guard serving as a big factor for the Badgers in the forward’s recruitment.
Now, the Badgers will have to face Fidler at least once next year, and are left without a transfer portal commitment so far, despite losing a significant part of their roster this offseason.
