Badgers top DL commit earns late offer from Penn State after taking official visit to SEC school

Wisconsin’s top defensive line commit is garnering late interest from major schools.

The Wisconsin Badgers have taken a lot of swings at highly ranked targets this offseason with official visits, looking to complete their 2026 class.

Some of those swings have been big hits, while others have been misses. One of the early commits during official visit season was that of three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, who was on campus during the last weekend of May.

Bah, who stands 6’3, 253 pounds, was a priority target along the defensive line after Wisconsin missed out on other options and lost three-star Carmelow Reed to Ole Miss on a flip.

The three-star had two dozen offers and scheduled visits with several other Big Ten teams, but Wisconsin was able to keep him away after his commitment… at least for a short period of time.

Bah did take an official visit with the Missouri Tigers after earning an offer during the weekend of June 20th. And now, another offer is on the horizon: Penn State.

The Nittany Lions offered the Badgers commit on Saturday, and a visit seems likely in the fall. Penn State currently has commitments from interior linemen Isaac Chukwurah and Alexander Haskell, but Bah could be the final addition to the group if they’re able to sway him from Wisconsin.

With how the Badgers board has fallen this offseason, losing Bah would be a big blow, as Wisconsin closed off their recruitment of defensive linemen after landing him and three-star Arthur Scott during the first weekend of official visits.

Wisconsin is still searching for outside linebackers in the class after missing out on some top recruits this summer, so there would be another priority added to the list for the fall if Bah flips.

As we know with recruiting, nothing is ever done until a player signs on the dotted line. We’ll see how this one turns out over the next few months.
