The Wisconsin Badgers have made the final list for Grand Valley State transfer defensive tackle Jay’viar Suggs, he announced on Tuesday.
#Badgers got a visit this spring. Some pretty hefty competition as you can tell. https://t.co/WDsPQcdhNm

In addition to the Badgers, Suggs included USC, Arkansas, Florida State, Kentucky, and Michigan in his final six.
The defensive tackle recently took a visit to Wisconsin, where he re-connected with defensive back Nyzier Fourqurean and outside linebackers coach Matt Mitchell, who were both with Suggs at Grand Valley State prior to last season.
The Badgers have long looked for a defensive lineman in the transfer portal this offseason, but have yet to find their desired depth, even after adding Albany transfer Elijah Hills in the winter.
Suggs recorded eight sacks over the past two years at Grand Valley State, and will head to his next destination with two years of eligibility left, meaning the defensive lineman wouldn’t be a one-year rental for Wisconsin.
Can the Badgers make a splash in the portal by landing Suggs over several other major contenders?
