One of the Badgers younger talents entered the portal earlier last month.

A four-star forward in the Class of 2023, Yalden was the prized recruit in Wisconsin’s freshman class this past season, but ultimately redshirted before moving on in the transfer portal.
Yalden, a native of Appleton, Wisconsin, had a number of off-the-court issues during his lone year with the Badgers, as he suffered a foot injury in the offseason due to a scooter accident before being cited twice by police. In November, Yalden took a leave of absence from the team.
Now at Seton Hall, the 6’9, 245-pound forward will look to jumpstart his collegiate career under head coach Shaheen Holloway.
He joins a frontcourt that has Boston College transfer Prince Aligbe, rising sophomore David Tubek, and 2024 three-star Godswill Erheriene.
Seton Hall had a successful year in 2023-24, going 25-12 and winning the NIT after slightly missing out on an NCAA bid in Year 2 under Holloway.
However, they’re currently undergoing a major roster turnover, as eight players are transferring from the program, leading to others such as Yalden and Aligbe being on their way in.
