Another senior has found a new home at the professional level.

The Wisconsin Badgers had a good amount of production to replace this offseason, as they lost six seniors who each played in some capacity in 2024-25.

Of course, the headliner was star John Tonje, who was selected by the Utah Jazz with the No. 53 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Additionally, center Steven Crowl found an NBA opportunity, signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Jazz ahead of NBA Summer League.

But, they weren’t the only ones who got professional contracts. Carter Gilmore signed a professional deal with the Den Helder Suns in the Netherlands. And last week, Markus Illver signed to play for Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits, who hail from his native country of Estonia.

Well, earlier this week, Kamari McGee jumped in on the fun, signing with KK Jahorina, a Bosnian basketball team based in the city of Pale and playing in the Bosnia-Division I.

McGee, a 6’0, 180-pound guard from Racine, Wisconsin, saw a major uptick in minutes this season, averaging 6.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 22 minutes per game. He was also efficient, shooting 45.7 percent from the field, while drastically improving his three-point shot, hitting 45.9 percent of his attempts.

A defensive menace, McGee will now get the chance to start his career overseas, becoming the latest Badger to turn pro.
