Marquette lands ’26 four-star power forward Sheek Pearson

Sheek Pearson, the No. 59 overall prospect in the 2026 class, has committed to Marquette, he told ZAGSBLOG.

The 6-foot-11 power forward out of John Burroughs (MO) and the Bradley Beal Elite Nike EYBL program chose Marquette over DePaul, Illinois, Iowa State, Missouri and a few other schools who offered.

“I chose Marquette because I believe that their ability to develop and grow players is something that can really help me,” Pearson told ZAGSBLOG.

In his most recent action at EYBL Session 1 in Arizona, Pearson averaged 7.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks across three games. The four-star power forward also shot 52.9% from the field to help Bradley Beal Elite to a 2-1 record. Pearson helped the organization to a 16u Peach Jam title last summer.

Sheek Pearson made a strong impression during Brad Beal Elite’s matchup against the Florida Rebels. The 6’11″ big man showcased his length, activity, and energy around the rim on both ends of the floor. Pearson was a constant presence in the paint, altering shots, finishing…

Pearson is the second commit for Shaka Smart in the 2026 class, joining guard Ethan Johnston.
