Will be interesting to see how much playing time Khris Middleton, Marcus Smart, and Malcolm Brogdon get down the stretch for the Wizards
(possibly moot as they won’t play through ailments) – 4:31 PM

My guess is Malcolm Brogdon is on the move as a part of the Marcus Smart trade that could be quite a few teams involved? – 3:12 PM
Cameron Tabatabaie @CTabatabaie
Marcus Smart makes $20.2 million this season, $21.6 million next year
Hard to see him taking a buyout, but joins Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon as a trio of vet leaders for a young Wizards team – 3:02 PM

Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon reunited in Washington – 2:56 PM

Wizards plan, for now, is to hold on to Khris Middleton, who played with Malcolm Brogdon in Milwaukee. Move gives Washington a little financial flexibility and frees up even more playing time/responsibility for its young wings. Plus they can take a flyer on AJ Johnson. – 1:01 PM

Well at least Khris Middleton gets to reunite with Malcolm Brogdon in Washington. – 10:29 AM

The Lakers and Clippers had Malcolm Brogdon on their radar last month. It’s unknown how Brogdon’s injury affects their interest. Brogdon has been out with a foot injury. -via SportsNet New York / February 4, 2025
