Milwaukee Bucks forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo has reportedly exercised his player option for the 2022-23 season. Antetokounmpo will be on the Bucks books for $1.9 million for next season.
Antetokounmpo joined his brother Giannis in Milwaukee before the 2019-20 season. He’s highly regarded as a positive locker room presence for the Bucks, and occasional contributor in the team’s wing rotation.
Last season, Antetokounmpo averaged 9.9 minutes over 48 games (six starts). He averaged 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest.
