Just when you think Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn’t be more loved in the city of Milwaukee, this news starts to develop.
According to Jon Heyman of MLB Network, the Greek Freak has expressed interest in becoming a minority owner of the Milwaukee Brewers:
Hearing rumblings that Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has interest in becoming a minority owner of the Brewers. Talks may be underway.

Heyman then followed that tweet up with this:
Brewers and the Greek Freak are indeed talking about him buying a small stake in the team https://t.co/NPzhwC3MMi

One of the coolest things about Wisconsin sports athletes are how all three of the MVP’s support one another. Of course, Aaron Rodgers is a minority owner of the Bucks. Christian Yelich was sitting courtside as the Bucks won the NBA Finals. He and Giannis have also had a special relationship:

The exact details are unknown at the moment, but man, this is cool. Imagine Giannis at Miller Park — I’m sorry, American Family Field (*eye roll*) as the Brewers are making their playoff run.
UPDATE: Apparently that interest is more than just a passing fancy!
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is purchasing a stake in the Milwaukee Brewers, sources tell ESPN. Follows the model of Patrick Mahomes: small-market star investing in the local baseball franchise, which Mahomes did in joining the Royals’ ownership group.
