The Jazz may have a nickname, but it’s not helping them in the standings.
The Milwaukee Bucks continue their road trip against the Utah Jazz. Milwaukee trounced Utah back in November and look to finalize the season series undefeated.
Where We’re At
The loss to the Clippers was unfortunate, but it was nothing like the pantsing the Bucks experienced at the hands of the Knicks over two weeks ago. Luckily, Milwaukee reeled off five straight in the interim, besting the Kings, Magic, Raptors, Sixers, and Heat in that stretch. Los Angeles represented a shift by being (1) good and (2) on the road; we might find out in Salt Lake City which of those factors was more to blame for the loss.
Meanwhile, the Jazz are on a five-game skid, losing to the Grizzles (okay!), Thunder (okay!), Pelicans (okay), Pelicans again (okay…), and Hornets (…). The good folks at SLC Dunk are covering those losses, sure, but also important content like: is [insert NBA team name here] interested in [insert Utah Jazz player here]? You can MadLibs that with the Lakers and Walker Kessler, the Mavs and Jordan Clarkson, the Warriors and John Collins… the list goes on.
Injury Report
For the Bucks, Bobby remains out for personal reasons, Khris (bilateral ankle injury management) and AJ Green (left quad strain) are questionable, and Giannis is probable (right patella tendinopathy).
For the Jazz, John Collins, Taylor Hendricks, Johnny Juzang, Walker Kessler, and Cody Williams are all out. However, Collin Sexton is available with a left fourth finger DIP avulsion fracture—the EXACT same fracture that I sustained in my bike fall three months ago!—as is Jordan Clarkson.

Um… Brook? Hope he has gas in the tank after logging 41 minutes against the Clippers.
