Amid news that Kylian Mbappe is being offered over $750 million for year of soccer to play for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has a message for the club: Take me too!

The Milwaukee Bucks forward took to Twitter this afternoon in response to the news of the $1 billion transfer being negotiated between Al-Hilal and Paris Saint-Germain for the French soccer star. He joked that he’ll happily join the Saudi club and he already looks like Mbappe.

“Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe,” Giannis wrote. He included a picture of himself looking at the camera with his best Mbappe impression.

Giannis’ post has gone viral with over 2.7 million views on Twitter. It has 143,000 likes, and over 20,000 retweets in less than an hour.

It’s going to be a long time before any NBA player is in a position to make the kind of money that Kylian Mbappe is being offered. Unlike most foreign soccer clubs, most American sports teams have a salary cap or other restrictions that make those kinds of deals untennable.

It certainly helps that the clubs in Saudi Arabia have basically endless money at their disposal since they’re 75-percent owned by the $700 billion Public Investment Fund.

If the PIF wanted to start their own basketball league, they could probably do so with ease.
