Giannis Antetokounmpo is not pleased with the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to waive-and-stretch Damian Lillard, sources tell Chris Haynes. The Bucks had to use the maneuver in order to execute their free agent signing of Myles Turner on a four-year, $107 million deal.
The Bucks acquired Lillard during the 2023 offseason to pair with Antetokounmpo.
Antetokounmpo reportedly was involved in the Bucks’ process of recruiting Turner to the team.
“He just didn’t like the way it was handled,” said Haynes about Antetokounmpo’s reaction to the Lillard decision.
