Tonight was the first of what is hopefully many fun matchups between GIannis Antetokounmpo and Victor Wembanyama.
The “Greek Freak” and the teenaged French phenom didn’t get to face off in the first meeting between the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs last month, as Wembanyama missed the game.
Neither player disappointed tonight, with Antetokounmpo posting 44 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists and Wembanyama going for 27 points, nine rebounds and five blocks in a 125-121 Bucks win.
One of Wembanyama’s five rejections was a resounding block of Giannis in the final minute of the game.

Overall, the two foreign-born stars put on a show, registering a number of ridiculous individual plays and exciting those watching in person and at home.
