It looks like All-Star point guard Damian Lillard was ready and waiting for the day he’d finally be traded from the Portland Trail Blazers. He even had music ready.
In one of his first posts since the blockbuster trade sending him to the Milwaukee Bucks was announced, Lillard took to X and posted a link to his new song “Farewell.”
“‘Farewell’ out on @AppleMusic and @TIDAL now. Hitting the rest of the platforms soon. #DameDOLLA,” Lillard wrote on X.
NBA fans couldn’t contain their amusement at how prepared Lillard was for the day he was getting traded. Many took to X to give him props for being so ready, while others still need to process the Dame era in Portland being over:
