That has led to wildly inconsistent basketball, and inconsistency leads to instability, in my opinion, especially after listening to Lillard try to explain his point of view. “You know, it takes time. I don’t know how to explain it,” Lillard said. “Some days it’s like, we got it. And then there’s days where it’s like we kind of lost it a little bit. And then we got it again and we lost it a little bit. “Sometimes you just go through these things. Everybody’s asking questions about this and that and what should Doc do? What should we do? How are we going to change it?

Giannis/Dame/Khris are +17.1 net as a Trio in 738 minutes over 41 games this season (2nd best in NBA). But continuity is a major issue: only 7 games/156 min together under Doc (+21.1 net) and just 4 games/85 min together over the past 2 months (+8.5 net). – 10:47 AM

The Bucks blew an 11-point lead to the Knicks for their fourth straight loss, but they’re still working to turn things around.

Jalen Brunson has 17 of the Knicks’ 25 points, but the Bucks lead, 31-25, entering the 2nd quarter.
Milwaukee can’t guard against the common cold, and Brunson’s on pace for another career-high scoring night at this rate.
Giannis: 7P, 3R, 1A, 1B
Dame: 12P – 7:40 PM

More on this storyline
On Saturday, according to sources briefed on the meeting, Bucks coach Doc Rivers held a film session with the team’s top nine veteran rotation players in Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Beasley, Bobby Portis, Patrick Beverley, Connaughton and Crowder. During that session, each player was given a chance to speak his mind and explain what they have been seeing from their own perspective, as well as how they believe the team needs to operate selflessly as a unit moving forward. “It’s only the start of these tough and necessary conversations,” one source described the session. -via The Athletic / April 8, 2024
Justin Kubatko: The Bucks have lost three straight games, each to a team with at least 50 losses entering the game. They are just the fourth team in NBA history to lose three such games in a row:
