Fans aren’t too confident in this team with Giannis’ status in doubt
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked you about your first-round predictions, your confidence in current Bucks versus ones in the near past, and Giannis’ worrisome injury that seems likely to keep him out to start the series with Indiana. Here are the highlights:
- 57% of fans polled think the Pacers will win the series, with more than half of them saying it will happen in four or five games. 39% think the Bucks will pull it off in six or seven.
- A slight majority (51%) feel more confident in the Bucks versus the Pacers—who they struggled with under Adrian Griffin—with Doc Rivers on the sidelines as opposed to Griffin, but 36% see no difference.
- Another 51% think Giannis will miss two games with his bum calf, while 28% think three or more. A convincing 93% think Giannis should sit out Game 1 if he’s not at full strength.
- Interestingly, 60% of fans asked think Milwaukee can beat Indy even if their big three of Giannis, Damian Lillard, and Khris Middleton don’t play every game of the series. Again, 57% thought the Pacers would win the series… I cocked my eyebrow at this one.
- 59% prefer Damian Lillard leading the team in the playoffs versus Jrue Holiday.
- Rivers’ approval rating barely improved from last week, but a good 10% of voters shifted to undecided from disapproving. Horst won back 14% of voters to his good side, though only to 49% versus 28% who still aren’t fans.
- 8% of voters swung from thinking the Bucks couldn’t win the title to thinking they can, but 52% still think they won’t.
Thanks again for voting! Check back on Tuesday for another slate of questions.
