Fan pessimism rises in wake of Dame’s DVT diagnosis
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked you about where you think the Bucks will finish in the East, their chances against their two most likely first-round opponents, and the starting lineup. Of course, we also wanted to know how concerned you were about Damian Lillard’s calf strain, which was revealed several hours after the Tracker’s publishing to be deep vein thrombosis that will keep him out indefinitely. Here are the highlights:
- 45% of respondents think the Bucks will remain in the sixth seed, where they’re just a half game back of Detroit. 42% thought they could grab the fifth seed.
- 76% feel the Bucks could beat either or both of the Knicks and Pacers in the first round if their stars are healthy.
- In a number that jumped a good 7–8% after Tuesday evening, 51% of fans polled are very concerned about Dame’s calf.
- A 55-45 split is in favor of changes to the typical (i.e., with Dame) starting lineup, with about 45% of those who want a change believing Taurean Prince should be the one heading to the bench.
- Slight majorities disapprove of Doc Rivers’ job performance and approve of Jon Horst’s.
Thanks again for voting! Check back on Tuesday for another slate of questions.
