Bucks Reacts Survey Results: Fans approve of Taurean Prince and Gary Harris signings

You can never have too many three-and-D wings.

This week, we solicited your opinions on the Bucks’ two minimum signings on the wing with new guard Gary Harris and returning forward Taurean Prince. Each guy received a one-year deal plus a player option for 2026–27 and could both figure in the rotation next year at the three and, in Harris’ case, at the two. The two, however, was a spot Milwaukee seemingly had locked down after re-signing Gary Trent Jr. alongside AJ Green, so Harris’ signing came as something of a headscratcher. But what did you think?

Despite Harris’ lack of production in recent seasons, fans seem to like his fit with the current roster. I’m not sure I agree, but recent revelations surrounding Andre Jackson Jr. may factor into Milwaukee’s calculus here. While they may still be planning for Trent and Green to be the primary offball guards, either can slide up to the three in smaller lineups, giving way to Harris, who is the most positionally limited of the trio. And where would that leave Ajax? At his size, he’s capable of guarding one through three, but is certainly better employed at the two or three on offense. The catch is that his guarantee date was pushed back to opening night (he is partially guaranteed now for $800k), which may be a harbinger that the Bucks plan to move on from him this summer, possibly in a trade.

Onto the Bucks’ other veteran signing on the wing, which was bringing back Prince. TP started nearly every game last season, even if it was out of position for him at the two. How do you feel about his place on the 2025–26 squad?

Based on social media reaction, I’m a bit surprised that seven out of every ten voters approved of bringing Prince back. The elite three-point shooting and the serviceable, if not outstanding defense do look good in more of a bench role, plus the fit alongside Giannis. If Prince’ role is right-sized to a deeper rotation guy instead of a heavier-minute starter, and his playoff exposure is limited against bad matchups, another year or two on a minimum is probably a good thing overall. But do we trust Doc Rivers to do that? Right now, TP is one of the two or three guys on the roster who is a credible option at the three, so he projects to be an every-night guy again at this point.
