Giannis Antetokounmpo and his wife, Mariah, and mother Veronica, traveled to New York City on Nov. 14 to receive a humanitarian award from the International Rescue Committee at its Global Rescue Dinner through the family’s work with the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF). Giannis accepted the John C. Whitehead Humanitarian Award, which is given “to individuals whose sustained commitment to humanity embodies John’s spirit and passion for humanitarian causes, and who have made significant contributions to saving and improving lives around the world.”
