The two-year-old grandson of Milwaukee Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin passed away on Saturday.
Jayce D. Griffin was found dead after his father saw he was unresponsive earlier in the day.
A cause of death has yet to be revealed but reports from an autopsy conducted Monday showed no evidence of foul play, per the Associated Press.
“My grandson Jayce was very special to me and my family, and his passing is an agonizing tragedy that will be felt forever,” Adrian Griffin said in a statement. “I appreciate your respecting our family’s grief and privacy at this time.”

The death is still being investigated by the coroner’s office.
