Milwaukee’s Tailgate Podcast: Don’t Say Christian Yelich is Back

But we really, really want to say it

Is…is Christian Yelich back?

After hitting the ball on the ground too much and lacking power for much of the 2021 season, Christian Yelich had a big weekend against the Washington Nationals.

It was an encouraging sign for a Brewers team that could use the offensive boost as they head into the stretch run of the regular season and into October, but are the changes for real — or are they a small-sample mirage against a bad team?

We discuss that and more — who could be added to the roster in September, Brandon Woodruff possibly hitting a wall, and this week’s big series against Cincinnati — on this week’s episode of Milwaukee’s Tailgate.

On this week’s episode @JaymesL and @RDTopp discussed the #brewers amazing road record, the resurgence of Christian Yelich, some potential roster changes down the stretch and maybe into the postseason and our favorite ballpark giveaways.https://t.co/3Z67sJiDKV
