
Made, MLB’s No. 8 prospect, will be the youngest participant in this year’s game
Shortstop Jesus Made (MLB No. 8) has been named to the 2025 All-Star Futures Game, an annual prospect showcase that takes place during All-Star Weekend.
Made has had a stellar season with the Low-A Carolina Mudcats, slashing .279/.387/.414 (.801 OPS) through 65 games. He’s the highest-ranked prospect that the Brewers have had since Jackson Chourio. Baseball America’s scouting department even went so far as to say that Made is a “prime contender to be the No. 1 prospect in the sport.”
Made combines quick hands at the plate with a propensity to make hard contact, two tools that should serve him very well as he continues to progress through the minor leagues. Not only does Made project to be an above average hitter — he’s also fast (34 stolen bases this year) and makes plays like this in the field:
