Another Misiorowski shirt!
Jacob Misiorowski has been about as good as anybody we’ve seen through his first three career starts. As Paul said in his article from earlier today, the only thing that can stop Misiorowski is himself.
He’s already breaking (fastest pitch in Statcast history for the Brewers) and tying (see below) records, while putting up a Baseball Savant page that, so far, looks like this.
Jacob Misiorowski has gone 5+ innings with 2 or fewer hits allowed and picking up the win. That’s tied for the longest such streak since at least 1901.
The Miz did it in the first three starts of his career.

While he doesn’t qualify for most statistical categories, he’s ranking in the top percentile for fastball velocity and extension, with a whole lot of red on his Savant page beyond that.
