Brewers close out road trip with visit to Miami
In the final series of the road trip, the Milwaukee Brewers head to Miami to face the Marlins.
For this Fourth of July showdown, the Marlins are a more dangerous team than they might appear on the surface, as they’ve won 10 of their last 12 games, clawing up to third in their division.
Milwaukee sends out Quinn Priester to the mound to make his 12th start of the season. He enters the game with a 3.35 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 78 innings. He’s been even more effective in recent performances, posting a 2.06 ERA over his last seven games.
Sal Frelick is in the leadoff spot, followed by William Contreras and Christian Yelich at designated hitter. Jackson Chourio, Brice Turang, and Isaac Collins fit in next. Rounding out the order are Jake Bauers, Caleb Durbin, and Joey Ortiz.
The full lineups are below.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. The game can be found on FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
