Quintana looks to bounce back against Minnesota
With the Brewers cruising to a win last night, Jose Quintana will try to carry on that momentum.
After a stretch of three good starts, his last outing was much more of a struggle. He went 4 1⁄3 innings against the Cardinals and allowed seven runs, five earned, on eight hits. While that was a bumpy game for Quintana, his overall season numbers are still impressive with a 3.35 ERA and a 4-2 record in nine starts.
In the lineup, Sal Frelick is set at the leadoff spot. He’s been hot lately, batting .328 over the last month while providing seven RBIs in just the last seven games. Behind him, Jackson Chourio and Christian Yelich fill out the top of the order.
William Contreras is behind the plate, followed by Brice Turang and Rhys Hoskins. To round out the order. Isaac Collins, Caleb Durbin, and Joey Ortiz take their usual spots in the lineup.
Simeon Woods-Richardson is Minnesota’s starter, a 24-year-old righty with a 5.13 ERA. After consecutive starts giving up six runs, Woods-Richardson is fresh off a clean five innings against the Houston Astros.
Here are the full lineups for today’s game. First pitch is set for 1:10 p.m. CT and will be on FanDuel Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
