After thrilling victory, Brewers set to face Carlos Rodon and the Yankees
The Brewers took Game 1 of their series against the New York Yankees in thrilling, extra-innings fashion. Next up, the Brewers hope to take down Carlos Rodon as Milwaukee sends Joe Ross to the mound.
Ross has impressed in most of his starts this season, but due to a six-run outing against the Padres, his ERA stands at 4.05. The Brewers will look for some length after a gritty extra-innings game. Ross has pitched six full innings once in those four attempts.
William Contreras is in the designated hitter spot with Gary Sanchez behind the plate. The infield is shuffled around with Brice Turang out of the lineup. Owen Miller will take the hot corner with Willy Adames, Joey Ortiz, and Rhys Hoskins rounding out the rest of the bunch.
In the outfield, Joey Wiemer makes the start in left field. Blake Perkins will command center field with Jackson Chourio set in the right field corner.
First pitch is at 6:10 p.m. on Bally Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network, as well as MLB Network.
