Brewers welcome Yankees to town for interleague battle
The Brewers are looking to keep the wins coming along as they welcome the New York Yankees to town for a three-game series beginning Friday night. The Brewers and Yankees are both among the league’s best in terms of record, with Milwaukee (16-8, .667 winning percentage) tied for third and New York (17-9, .654) in fifth.
Colin Rea takes the mound for the Brewers with Sal Frelick, Blake Perkins, and Jackson Chourio manning the outfield. Gary Sanchez is the DH after delivering a game-winning homer on Thursday, and the rest of the team’s normal starters are in the lineup tonight.
First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. on Bally Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network, including 94.5 ESPN Milwaukee.
