Myers, 26, had a solid rookie campaign for Milwaukee in 2024, with a 3.00 ERA, 3.91 FIP, and 127 strikeouts across 138 innings as he made 27 appearances (25 starts).
Myers went down with an oblique injury in the middle of spring training and has worked his way back the last several weeks, making three rehab starts for Triple-A Nashville, where he allowed three runs over 13 1⁄3 innings (2.03 ERA) with eight strikeouts. He worked his way up to 76 pitches in his last start with the Sounds, so expect him to hit 80-90 pitches in his season debut against the Giants Thursday afternoon.
After a promising start to his Brewers’ tenure last season, Hudson faltered down the stretch but still finished with a 1.73 ERA and 3.60 FIP over 62 1⁄3 innings. He once again had a solid start to the year in 2025, allowing just two unearned runs over his first six innings while striking out seven. Since then, however, he’s allowed four runs and struck out just two over his last four appearances, spanning just 2 2⁄3 innings. He’ll head to Nashville as the Brewers look to get him back into his first-half form from a year ago.
