Brewers reinstate Adrian Houser, recall Aaron Ashby; Miguel Sanchez, Eric Yardley optioned; Daniel Vogelbach transferred to 60-day IL

Houser expected to start against the Nationals.

Several transactions taking place today prior to today’s action against the Nationals by the Milwaukee Brewers. Adrian Houser is reinstated from the injured list. He is scheduled to start on the mound this afternoon against Washington. Aaron Ashby gets the recall from Nashville. Miguel Sanchez and Eric Yardley are optioned back to Nashville.

Daniel Vogelbach is on rehab assignment in Nashville, and the transfer to the 60-day IL opens up a 40-man roster spot for Houser to return to after missing time with COVID-19. Vogelbach has been on the IL since late June so his 60-day stint will be able to be backdated to that point. It should not affect the timeline of his rehab assignment and availability in September.
