The Brewers are set to host an Alumni Home Run Derby at American Family Field later this month; who’s the favorite?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Milwaukee Brewers fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

Welcome back to another fan survey brought to you by FanDuel! In this week’s poll, we’re asking Brewers’ fans who will win the Brewers’ Alumni Home Run Derby scheduled for July 25 as part of the celebration for American Family Field’s 25th anniversary.

The Brewers have announced that Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez will each captain a team, with players selected from the following pool of players: Keon Broxton, Prince Fielder, Yovani Gallardo, Bill Hall, Corey Hart, Casey McGehee, Nyjer Morgan, and Eric Thames. Former Brewer coach Ed Sedar will pitch, with George Kottaras behind the plate.

While this isn’t a conventional derby in that it will be two teams going head-to-head for the crown, there will be a final round of the derby that features the two players with the highest individual home run totals. Prince Fielder seems like the favorite given his history of power and two MLB Home Run Derby wins, though Eric Thames and Ryan Braun both have plenty of power themselves. Beyond those three, I’ve chosen to leave it open as “the field,” as hypothetically, any of these 10 retired players could take the crown.

Who knows, maybe it’ll be Yovani Gallardo and his 12 career homers. Or will it be Nyjer Morgan and his 12 career homers? Answer the poll below and stay tuned for results later this week!
