The Miz took the league by storm in June, picking up three wins in as many games while allowing just three hits
Right-handed pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has been named the NL Rookie of the Month for June, picking up the award in his first month in the majors.
While he had a rough outing Wednesday night in New York (five earned runs in 3 2⁄3 innings), he was outstanding in his first three appearances, all in the month of June.
In wins over the Cardinals, Twins, and Pirates, he allowed just two earned runs, both of which came on a homer against the Twins, while allowing just three hits total across 16 innings. He struck out 19 and walked seven as he earned the win in all three appearances.

Entering 2025 as a consensus top 100 prospect, Miz was ranked No. 65 by Baseball Prospectus, No. 44 by Baseball America, and No. 100 by MLB Pipeline. MLB Pipeline released an updated top 100 list earlier this week, and Misiorowski moved up to No. 21 overall and No. 2 in the Brewers’ system, behind only Jesús Made (No. 8 overall).
The future is bright in Milwaukee, with the 23-year-old righty quickly making a name for himself.
