The first-time All-Star has a 2.48 ERA with 21 saves on the season
Mere minutes after striking out the side in an electric 3-2 walk-off win against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Trevor Megill was named a National League All-Star.
Brewers closer Trevor Megill has been added to the NL All-Star team, Pat Murphy just said.

Milwaukee’s vaunted bullpen hasn’t missed Devin Williams much, mostly thanks to Megill. The hard-throwing right-hander has converted 21-of-24 save opportunities this season. His arsenal features a 100-mph fastball and an absolutely filthy curveball.
Megill will be replacing RHP Freddy Peralta, who was named as the Brewers’ lone representative last weekend. Peralta is slated to start this Sunday against the Nationals.
