After the worst start of his young career (five runs over 3 2⁄3 innings) against the Mets, Jacob Misiorowski bounced back with arguably the best start. In Tuesday’s win over the Dodgers, Miz allowed a leadoff homer to Shohei Ohtani and basically nothing else, ultimately striking out 12 in another winning performance as Milwaukee won 3-1.
He was named NL Rookie of the Month for June after picking up the win in each of his first three MLB starts, allowing just two runs on three hits with 19 strikeouts across 16 innings against the Cardinals, Twins, and Pirates — and then he did that.
